If you really want it for Walmart-specific rewards it might make sense, but if you're just looking to build credit or looking for a card you can get the most of other places you might want to look elsewhere. It's not a great card, but almost any card can help you build credit as long as you pay it on time, in full, and they report to all the credit bureaus.
